My Dad sang this for my sister after she died. There was not a dry eye in the house. I love you Dawana and miss you so much Sister!!!!

Great solo by Willie. That sound can only be achieved by a guitar that has been to hell and back.

Classic uncle Willie!

The first time I heard this song was in Fruitvale, B.C. (pop.200), fall of '76. I'd just broken up with a woman I truly loved. We were both in the only bar in town and she put this song on the jukebox. Guess she wanted that knife in my heart to twist a little bit deeper...it did.

You said it all...No one close ...such charisma in his song writing,( many ,many great songs) singing and guitar playing. An original and beautiful persoanality. Thanks so much for being yourself Willie!!!

all are
Others make more, are prettier, more handsome, dress more provocatively, even can play guitar a bit better, but Willie is endless, an American legend living with us. Gaga, Beiber, rappers, Underwood, Paisley, Beyonce, etc have nothing on Willie. Their songs will not live forever like his. Then there is quiet charisma, generous nature, things no one comes close to. Willie is unique and when his time has expired, the world will miss the greatest bard of all time.

killer version. I could do without the awkward intro. Impressed by his solo.
