This the last track featured on Phil's 2001 'Lake of Shadows' album.

Phil; 'I wanted this anthem to close this album as it features almost all the musicians who made this such a wonderful project [Lake of Shadows album]. Although the song is my own personal story, I think the emotion is pretty universal'.

The musicians who featured on this track are;

Aoife Ná Fhearraigh (Vocals)
Dermot Byrne (Accordion)
The Balleyclare Male Choir (Conductor - Brian Angus)
The New Age Chamber Orchestra (Leader - Mike Darcy)

Enjoy.

  • Had a 50th anniversary with family and this track featured in our photografic DVD over the years, suited the ocassion admirably. We emigrated from Ulster in 1961

  • My home is in my heart while I am with those who love me, and those I love. Thank you, Phil Coulter, for this beautiful piece of music.

  • if anyone could upload this song from the words and music album that phil did many years ago i would love to hear it again. that would bring back so many fond memories.

  • This is a wonderful arrangement by a truly gifted performer. Phil Coulter is considered one of the best and rightly so. May the Irish always be with us!

  • The hairs on my neck are standing up, what a brilliant song but then again what do you expect from one of the world,s best
