Easy Caramel Fudge is an adaptation of my Mother's classic recipe. Butter, brown sugar, vanilla, milk and condensed milk are combined to create a rich, sweet fudge that is both decadent and relatively easy to make - give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

150g of Butter
500g Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
1/2 Cup of Milk
400g Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk


MAKES ABOUT 30 SQUARES OF FUDGE

Preparation Time: About 20 minutes
Chilling Time: About 6 hours

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
(Look up Google for a conversion chart if using Imperial)

  • what kind of brown sugar do you use Dark or light?

  • @tinan1111222 I use light for this recipe, but dark will work too ;)

  • Can i use normal white sugar , icing sugar or the like...dont really have brown sugar at home :(

  • @sanaazam134 I suggest a trip to the supermarket, you'll need brown sugar for this recipe ;)

  • I like my caramel with a liiiiittle bit of saltiness to it. Should I used salted butter or should I just add a pinch of salt?

  • I'm so pissed. None of the fudge recipes turn out for me at all ! It's gooey and sticky and messy ! I tried making this and the chocolate one a few different times and I always get the same result even though I follow the recipe to a T. Grrrrrr, that was a lot of money I wasted.

  • i didnt find any vanilla essence in the market, so if i used vanilla powder, how much should i add?
