  • Brings back memories. I was raised in an isolated and very abusive household. To make matters worse, my father used evangelical teachings to support and empower his abuse on us. I was the youngest of 4 kids, so my siblings followed the example of abuse, which meant I had 5 people physically harming and emotionally abusing me every day. I dreamed of a better place "out there" somewhere and I got a copy of this LP. I wore out this track just staring at the turntable and dreaming of a safe place.

  • @TVWriterGuy hope you found a safe haven...glad you find peace with this song

  • Love Leon Patillo! Grew up as young Christian, listening to his music. Awesome in concert!

  • I will never leave you nor forsake you, Behold, I am as close as your breath. Seek my face and you will find me.

Yet, I tell you the truth. It is best that I leave you, because the comforter will not come unless I send him.
