Have you heard the story about the starfish? A little child was walking along the beach, throwing starfish into the ocean. A man told the little boy that it's a waste of time because he couldn't possibly save all of them. The little boy threw another one out and said "It makes a difference to this one." This story reminds me of poverty. One person can't help all children, but everyone can help somebody! Become a sponsor, please. Your help might mean the world to one person!

@jillybilly1976 I have NO PROBLEM WITH HELPING PEOPLE!! My issue comes in when people try to say prayer does this or prayer does that! Prayer is a complete WASTE OF TIME! The chances of a prayer working is like a throw of the dice! I could pray to a cat and have as many prayers answered as you would praying to an invisible entity!!

@maadcat Really? Tell me then, why hasn't your ALL POWERFUL, ALL LOVING god healed the limb on one single amputee? Not one record of any amputee EVER being healed via prayer! In addition, the same can be said for quadriplegics! Ever heard of Joni Erickson? If you know of her you will know that she's a very committed christian and a VERY crippled one! Why hasn't your god healed her or those like her??!! I know why, do you?
