READ THIS FIRST!!!

LiPos: 2S Zippy Flightmax 2200mAh from Hobbyking, connected in series with a cable I soldered.
Driver: fat, bad, live with it.
The car and the LiPos: STILL ALIVE after two years since making this video so quit moaning about the way they're being treated.
Me: I am absolutely no authority regarding these cars. Read the Traxxas community forums, there are a lot of kids with true insight to these things.

Then read the answers for previous questions. Also, watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMrBpOdmXP4 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ha0hjQmvcjI

The original description:

The two guys from Can't-drive-o-meda are back! This time we were testing the mini E-Revos with a 4S LiPo setup (2x2S 2200mAh packs in series). It all ended up in... tears. To be continued.

  • hi mate!i nave the same problem with the rear diff...is this in the garranty of traxxas?or i ll have to pay and fix it on my own?

  • @gufterica R/C makers pretty much issue no guarantee when it comes to failure by usage, even if there was an apparent design flaw in some parts of the product. Out of the box manufacturing defects would be a different case.

Get the 7029X and 7030X uprated bulkheads if your car didn't come with the preinstalled. The easiest way to tell the difference between the original and uprated designs is the long lateral screw in the latter.

  • what charger/balancer do you use? i have the same lipos, but i use a turnigy balancer/charger and my lipos dont have the power yours does could you help?

  • @hammell557 It's the Turnigy Accucell-6 so nothing special there. I also tend to balance the packs after every run, but that's not it either.

  • @Addikti okay, will say iam a noob to lipo but not rc. an i have noticed my lipos dont really gain any power after i used the balance/charger, should i just switch to a lipo charger that charges threw the batterie cables its self? if i even can..

thanks for the help to much needed

  • @hammell557 Wait, you haven't connected the pack's power leads? When blalancing, the big charge is always delivered through the main leads and the external balancing wires are used to equalize the charge in the end of the cycle. You need to connect both the main leads and the balancing wires at the same time.
