Kasab:The Israeli Connection

While covering the 26/11 trial, new facts of what transpired during the attacks continued to surface. One such revelation was how Israel was doing all it could, to ensure their citizens who were taken as hostages by the terrorists were safe and unharmed. Though, the taped telephone conversations between an Israeli negotiator in Washington DC and a terrorist at the Nariman House in Mumbai were played in court, they were not given to the media. But still, we sourced the tapes out and we were the only English news channel to have aired it on that day. Also, for the first time we got to hear Pakistani handlers warning India that the 26/11 attack was just the beginning and many more can be expected.

This is a typical news story I produce almost everyday. My contribution started from doing live reports from the court on the news developments, shooting, sourcing the audio conversations, scripting and helping in the edit.
