  • Um, it seems that some viewers are not picking up on the purpose of the Bullhead Derby. Lake Ashtabula has a serious overpopulation of bullheads, which problem the wildlife club is attempting to remedy.

  • i wish my river had this problem.

  • calm down people... the reason that they didn't throw them back, and the reason they caught that many was because they hurt ecosystems, and they eat the eggs of practically every other species of fish in that lake. it was hosted by the wildlife federation because of that reason. thumbs up so people will know.

  • I love eating bullhead. Fry and put on break with a litlte cheese and miracle whip, man those are fantastic tasting. What is that at the end? They showed them cooking them early on but were they throwing the rest out? Thats a shame if they just got pitched .....

  • thats some good viddles my grandfather would be rolling over in his grave

  • more bullheads the better and the water is cleaner '' who care if there is a lots of bullheads in that lake' 'just go fishing in a other lake''' there is a thousands of lakes''' leave the bullheads alone the more bullheads the better it is'' and even if you do a fish durby that wont kill the population and if you put other fish that wont either

  • @danrabago88 but only the bullheads are over population in that lake . what's so bad about over population of fish thats what we want '

  • It should be obvious to anyone viewing this video that the lake in question does have a serious over population. And while introducing predator fish is a great solution, catch and release should probably not be practice. It's hard to believe, but it is in the best interest of the habitat. And for murvman, maybe they should.

  • dude, thats enought to feed me for a couple years, what the fuck are they just throwing them away for

  • what do they do with them all. Surely they use them for fertilizer or something like that if they're not going to eat them?

  • Just put some big Muskies in that lake, that'll take of the Bullheads.

Might eat up everything else, too, but it'll take care of the Bullheads!
