whats the deal with using two kettle bells when you can use 1 at that equals that weight? is it for an extra unstable exercise?

One kettlebell is good as you aren't balanced and your core works to balance out your other side. However, with 2 kettlebells you can use more weigh. The heaviest kettlebell is usually 48kg, maybe 56kg so if you used 2 x 32kg's then you are using more weight
