Thorny Devil

The Thorny Devil is an Australian lizard and is about 4 to 5 inches long. They have many spines and spikes covering their body. They also have a fake head on their neck and when threatened point their real head down and the fake head up. They have also adapted to the extremely arid environment that they live in, and in the desert there isn't much water. So the Thorny Devil has evolved to soak up the water like a sponge. They go in the early morning to a patch of plants and the morning dew gets onto their backs. They have a network of channels and grooves all over their body that go directly to their mouth. if you supplement cricket with white vinegar its like eating ants for them and can be kept captive as pets. i dont recommend it tho :/
