A short video clip of the 1958 Dodge Power Wagon built by my father and I with a 1993 12 valve Cummins diesel (stock, for now). It has the Getrag G360 transmission, Dana 80 rear, and the Spicer 70 front axle. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2169994

  • Hows it do on hauling, whats its top highway speed, whats its mpg, is it insolated to reduce noise in the cab going down the road, does it rattle or shake?

    Ben

  • i have 99' dodge cummins

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX

Because Cummins never even did work with Chrysler till '89, when Ford refused to use it with the name brand.

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX probably would of cost to much and wouldnt have worked very well probably because cummins was pretty new and the b series motors were only made in mid 80s i think

  • Other that the getrag trans, bullet proof drive train, dana 70 front, 80 rear. if it had an nv5600 it would be indestructible.

  • Badass.

  • At the Sema show several years back they had a modern version of the old power wagon. i was so hoping they'd make it. Instead the new power wagon looks just like the rest of the pickups. It was a nice retro version.

  • I could hear the Cummins shake. You built a wonderful machine!

  • the sound is awesome.

    congratulations.

  • @starchief59 The cummins is awesome offroad, all diesels are heavy.. just means you need to be careful where you go and pick the right supporting mods
