This particular ACE Hardware store has all sorts of old electrical items including some old and odd fluorescent light starters and ballasts.

  • Did they have any box fans?

  • I didn't look for them but I'm sure that they would have some. Likely Lakewoods.

  • those things you called has no expiration so wats ur prob>

  • Are you some sort of fluorescent lighting rainman?

  • I have a fixture that uses two F90T17 lamps. It is rare and very interesting! I need to purchase some more lamps for it to have spares, but I do have one spare starter. Very bright and cool light with a HUGE ballast and all porcelain reflector. I LOVE preheat fixtures. I have hundreds of them, mostly F40 2 and 3 lamp and lots of "old school" compact fluorescent preheat. Many of mine are in use. I love yall preheat enthusiasts!

  • im just gonna throw this out there but the first ballast you showed i have a garage full of lights with the same ballasts in them and they all work ill sell em 200 bucks a peice thats a deal

  • they have those in cali so you can grow weed nerd

  • ACE=A crappy effing store. lol

  • F32T8 preheat ballast. If I had been there, I'dve snapped that up in a heartbeat.

  • The FS-850 starter with 4 pins actually goes to fixtures that have 2 F90T17 lamps. They were 5 feet long and were thicker than a T12. They even had larger pins, mogul bipin. As for the preheat F32T8 ballast, I never knew they made those. Must be pretty rare. That would probably be worth purchasing if it's still there.

  • Awesome!! I wonder how the starter works..
