On 15th October 2009, for the second year running as part of National Corporate Responsibility Week, Business in the Community Ireland brought together the leading business minds in the country to discuss climate change. Approximately 100 of the top CEOs, senior managers and policy makers in Ireland were in attendance. The forum addressed a number of Climate Change related themes, including: Does the economic crisis detract from business tackling the climate crisis? Will a strong deal at Copenhagen be good for business? Why are some businesses already going beyond conventional targets in a more fundamental shift towards sustainability?
