@AroundSun There are no "lootings". After you take over a country, you gain control of its resources, especially those which were state-owned. Contracts for these newly acquired resources are then given to companies in the Allied countries. As Iraqi forces retreated amidst the Allied invasion, they set fire to the oil fields (see NASA Iraq gallery), but experts were brought in to control and put out the fires. Shell, BP and ExxonMobil were amongst those who won the contracts to Iraq's oil.
