  • Thanks man!! Im gonna check that magazine out! Yes, rock is very common on the FEC, much of the rock/limestone is mined in west Miami-Dade county and then hauled north by the FEC. Much of the limestone will then be processed and turned into building materials such as roofing tiles, asphalt, concrete and bricks. Thanks for watching!!!

  • Nice local catch! TRP Magazine has an article on the FEC from the 60's just to let ya know- lot of rock trains there huh?
