This song is about being lower than everyone else, including extreme add/hd and depression, hence "Cause it's always raining in my head" and how it's hard or almost impossible to experience things such as love, or happiness in general. This is coming from a guy who knows exactly how it feels.

Whatever this song is about, it was meant to be interpreted, however the listener wants. That's why I love his lyrics, because I can relate. Definitely a goosebumps kind of song. One of the most powerful I have ever heard.
