(+[PSP]::) MOD!!!!!! Clear case + Sound sensitive LEDs!!!!!

my psp mods, Crystal Case, Sound-Reactive LEDs, etc. took me, all up, including the trial-and-error period, about 6 hours, which is why i couldn't film me putting the LEDs in. w00t for psp mods!!!!

may i ask i got 4 psp's and am in the poccess of repairing/modding them.

i am planning on putting leds in most of them but dont know what size is best ive seen people use flat leds that are harder to find within the price i'm keeping too.

also i used once before some 3 mm leds but seem to find that they take up a lot of room so 5 mm leds are for me kinda out of the qeustion .

can you please tell me what typed of leds you are useing?

3mm LEDs are still too big to be able to find adequate space in your PSP.

I used 0603 SMD LEDs.

they're tiny, smaller than a millimeter, and quite difficult to solder onto.

i was just wondering if you knew how to have 2 collors that switch every X msec? because i'm thinking of makeing a police like psp that flashes blue and red but like once blue and then red and have them interchangeing so wile the left side is red the right side will be blue and wile the right side is red the left will be blue if you catch my drift ;)

let me know if you can help me ... still designing my other 3 psp's :p

@fabzcardon yes, you can do it with some basic components, but it will be difficult to fit into a PSP. - especially a 2000 or 3000.

you would need to fit a 555 Timer IC, resistors, capacitors and at least two Transistors - one NPN and the other PNP.
