  • I think you should be able to tell which zone is the easiest, middle, and hardest through experimentation. In my experience, the exercise follows a kind of strength curve where the exercise gets gradually easier toward to extended position. Thus, the contacted position is the hardest, the mid position is the second hardest, and the extended position is the easiest.
