To be more clear, Vista doesn't use Activesync, it uses the Windows Mobile Device Center. Is this causing my problems perhaps?

I did this method already (as it's posted in the original thread) But i still can't get past the fact that Once the phone goes into SSPL-mode, Active-sync won't connect to it! WHAT THE F*^$(^*$%*#$%*$#*%#@*%!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The update process bar on both phone and computer stayed at 0% the first time I tried by the way...After that it just wont work and stays on the colored screen...

I did everything like you said and my 8525 keeps on staying on the red, green, blue screen. It wont recover from recovery mode. It wont work basically...Help? (I'm on windows xp)
