  • highways were 55mph, then 65, then 75 in some places around the country, and now 85 in texas? DAMN!!! Maybe it is cuz of new car technology or whatev. lol

  • The english word 'limit' means a 'cap' in this case 'speed'....

    What you need stateside, included into the Federal Highways MUTCD is a 'speed DE-Restriction sign'. (//)

    (Catalogued in the "UN Convention on Road Traffic, Signs & Signals" as sign number C,17a).

    Used, IF a state so chooses such an allowance.
