@chidragon60 the point as the person above you has stated is one to get the correct shapes down aand secondly to make sure everything is lined up inside the little squares. its a way of measuring without bringing out the protractor and compass lol.

i guess some painters use it to get the right shape and lines at the beginnig, same grid shoud be at resource image so it easier to start, it s just my opinion because i used it once, it could have different purpose

photoshop is more than just making pretty pictures. its the starting point for just about all advertising special effects, game design , marketing, and photo retouching. so i think u can make more from using it than u pay
