@PLScotland "Inordinately expensive" is an exaggeration. Their prices are quite competitive when compared to similar products by other hardware manufacturers. The Samsung Series 9 and the Lenovo Thinkpad both compete with the Macbook Air and are MUCH more expensive with similar specs. I do agree with the lack of compatibility.

I hate Apple's wilful lack of compatibility. Their hardware is inordinately expensive, even replacing peripherals and accessories is obscene. Save tonnes of cash by going 3rd party.
