Jethro Tull comprised of Ian Anderson (guitar, flute), Martin Barre (electric guitar), Barriemore Barlow (drums), Tony Williams (bass guitar), John Evan (piano, organ) and David Palmer (keyboards) performing and edited version of 'Thick as a Brick' during a concert in Madison Square Garden, October 1978
Gotta admit, after the acoustic section in the beginning it gets pretty heavy .. Why hasn't Dream Theater covered this? Haha and the guitar riff near the end? That my friends .. is a Heavy Metal riff if I ever heard one. Amazing band. I certainly wish I was born in the 60s so I could see them in the 70s.
@crambone20002000 I agree with you. Barriemore Barlow is great, one of the best drummers. I hate compare Barriemore Barlow with Neil Pearl. I think Barriemore Barlow is better, but both are great certainly.
This was the first Tull concert i went to, and it was great! Nothing like it, floor seats, 23 third row, don't remember if i even sat down. The show was phenomenmal. Watching this video brought back alot of good memories.
@1961vampire I totally agree. Yngwie Malmsteen did pick Mr Barlow for his first solo-album "Rising Force"...

@misty8718 Yes. Barriemore Barlow is, in my opinion, one of the best drummers. Great performance. Jethro Tull is amazing.
