  • What is the cost for this ink stick. I have heard many positive remarks by people who have used this ink stick. Do you sell them?

  • @dinasaur2 I do not sell this. It is from a friend in UK and he sells it. If you are interested, I will pass his information to you.

  • OH WOW. :o) He is safe.

    I didn't know you'd made this video.

Life is tricky right now but I wanted to say, I am so happy Sooty Monk arrived.

The thing is the first 5th of an inch, is a greyish/black. AFTER this layer the ink gets black absolute. And did you notice the wonderful smell?

I still think beautiufl ink was hidden inside these and sold as Trophies when the Ink Sticks Factory was taken over.

    He is Pine Oil.

He gets better as you wear him down.

    Love... Neil. x

  • Frankly I did not use the ink stick to the inside level. I was surprised that it was not black, I mean not as easy to get out the black as my other ink stick. After you explain, I think i get the reason, The treasure is covered inside! oh, I will try when I am home from Canada.

  • wow! i always wondered how ink was made! could you perhaps tell me any places to buy a real ink stone and stick? i have looked in all my local stores but cannot find any.

  • I have. I will do a video to tell you more.

  • Very nice. I like when you do videos like this one which are mostly sounds. Very calming. Thank you...

  • It looks so precious, I wouldn't be able to use this one.

  • @yanghaiying Yes please pass on this information to me. Thank you very much.

  • Where can someone buy this ink monk?

  • Remember, the first 5th of an inch has to go. I softened mine and cut them with a knife now.

The first one I used extensively one day.

In the morning when it had dried, the base had cracked like a flower in shards.

I snapped them off and it revealed a NEW soot. It smelled amazing.

And I touched it and it came off on my finger like dust.

So I made some ink and instantly it was soft.

I have used two in one year. (Alot of work.) And they were both identical.

    Best wishes.

    :o)

  • ah, thank you my friend.
