@theciskokidd Soldermask is not conductive, the green area is not a ground. It's just a protective coating, like paint.
You could scratch it off if you wanted, and it would make no difference to the tracks underneath and what they do or do not connect to.

You can buy the hole kit or consumables, cleaner and exposer separately.

@dmkitsch Yes, you can buy the lacquer separately at your local LPKF distributor (e.g. via our website). As a German customer you can purchase directly in our online shop.
