D'espairsRay (formerly typeset as DéspairsRay or +DéspairsRay+) is a Japanese rock band formed in 1999 by Hizumi, Karyu, Zero and Tsukasa
1999年9月9日結成。数多くの音源リリースと、シーン随一、と言われる程の綿密な ライブ活動。その積み重ねてきたキャリアは、ステージに登場した瞬間から強いカリスマ 性で観る者を圧倒する。
迫力のあるライブと独自の世界観、ダークと破壊。洋楽のアプローチさえ感じさせる楽曲 と激しいライブで、超熱狂的な「マニア」を増殖させ続けているD'espairs Ray。
自らが主催するイベント「［D］eep69［R］ed」や、マニアONLYギグ「地下 室でマニア達密会」、ビデオの無料配布など、独自のアイデアで注目を集めてきた。
2003年は熱狂の渦と化した新宿LIQUID ROOMワンマンも成功させ、これから更に多くのマニアが捕獲されると思われる！
