This is probably the key more comfortable for guys to sing. You dont have to use capo... i just do.... :D enjoy!

This is my prayer in the desert
When all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides

This my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flame

I will bring praise, I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice, I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

This is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on its way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

I will bring praise, I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice, I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

This is my prayer in the harvest
When favour and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've received I will sow.

  • You did great! I love this song and you made me like it even more!!!!

  • it's in the key of G# when you put the capo on. I tried playing the G major scale around it for little solos and fills, but it was flat until I moved to G#.

  • How many chords and chord names? You're amazing and if you're not already in a band you should really join one.

  • Yeah, Brooke did write it, Idk why I said that, lol

Sorry for misleading anyone, should have made sure first :)

  • is it C, G, D, Em?

  • Actually, Brooke wrote it. But both sang on it. =)

  • Great Job! Keep it up :p

  • Nice, btw Jill McCloghry wrote this song not Brooke Fraser
