E.V.O. Search For Eden (SNES) Turning into a Dragon

Just a quick video showing my character evolving into a dragon.

Question: How do you turn into a dragon?
In the dinosaur era after you have evolved into a bird go to the main screen and wait for the cloud to float over you. Press the "A" button when the cloud stops overhead and you will fly up into the cloud.

dude how do you get that many evo points

I used a game genie cheat for Infinite Evo points, I don't recommend it though since it makes the game way to easy.

you don't, green crystals are the only way for the red crystal forms. might be able to to get a code however by doing a non specific number search switching between saves with the dragon form and not.

I was really happy to have gotten the dragon, unfortunately it didn't let me keep it, it changed me back after only a few minutes. I recorded the evolution and can change back to it as long as I have a green crystal, but again it only lasts a few minutes. Any tips on how to use it for longer periods of time?
