I ran for Los Altos back in '85.... Good old Mt. Sac... miss that place!!

Best time I had at Sac was 16:50.... ran the mile in 4:36.

Every sport is hard, does not matter what it is... you have to train to be good in it....!

it is more about mentality for example @ our high a tennis player took one year to become the one of the fastest guys on our xc team he got 15 to 14 minute times while as before he got 20 minute times

it has to do with a person who can mentally endure the pain of running fast, long distances football is nothing compared to running, running is considered beyond a sport you dont see football in the olympics go play some rubgy thats a real sport

and don't even act like cross kuntry is a tough sport. i run a 5 minute mile and i don't run every day. i weightlift. if you played football you would probably break your arm after the first day
