@Assasin4497 That's true. But I'd still trust my own moral intuition far more. In deuteronomy it says that marriage is only valid if the woman in question is a virgin, but she should be executed if not. And that anyone who commits adultery should be stoned. And the same is essentially said for homosexuals. The torah also prohibits tattoos, pulling out during sex, illegitimate children in church, divorce and wearing gold. Can I really trust the bible to tell me what is moral / immoral?

@jfrey0725 I see your point but I would like to believe that god put men and woman in this world to create life together and I don't necessarily think they will go to hell. You also said that religion can be a source of evil but wasn't that man's doing and couldn't man have used religion as a scapegoat for his greed?
