  • Needs more cowbell though!

  • @manmorgue What do you mean, great to see they're back? They've always been around and, I think they will continue to stay around!!! The Smithereens are an astonishing band! Pat Di Nizio an astonishing song writer!

  • @beatlefan64 It's understandable why artists that have been around as long as The Smithereens aren't getting much airplay. However, I still think that they're very underrated in general, even in their heyday. Also, I hope that last part wasn't your way of saying that all new music sucks. Believe me, I've come across people before that incorrectly think that.

  • yea, beat me with that reverb!!!

love it when the last note is hit and the reverb still shakes your fillings.

    boys, come back to durham!

  • Fantastic track!

More great music from the Smithereens - woo hoo! :)))) - Thank you guys!

I've been a fan ever since I heard "A Girl Like You" on the radio back in 1989. This should be all over the radio including the top 40 stations instead of Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Rhianna and all the other current crap

  • I need a LOVE button!

  • They come on the Flashback lunch on WHFS 97-5 FM Baltimore (WWMX HD 2 106.5) often at 12 o clock

  • Yes !!

  • Just heard this for the 1st time on WFUV's top 100 of 2011 ... I love it. If they hadn't written these lyrics, I would have! I'm now a Smithereens fan :)

  • This song should be a tutorial for new bands on how to write a decent song. Keep rocking Smithereens!
