Unless the pilot made a down wind leg to the west then base leg and final to the east.!!!!!!

If this flight is coming directly from Doha and the view is from the left wing seat then the sea has to be on the right side of the plane not the left one.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
