We obtained the license to sell 100 digital downloads of this song from songclearance.com The publishers, Darkness Coats Us Publishing and April Music, have been informed and our license numbers are 15994170,15999917. All profits will be used to improve the quality of future recording sessions and continue to make it affordable for the students.

On Saturday, May 7th the students traveled to Nashville, TN to record 8 songs at Starstruck Studios, a world class recording studio owned by Reba McEntire. This was our longest recording session to date...running from 8 am to 3 am. The students recorded Gunsgliner from 11 pm to about 1 am.

You might notice that we changed the arrangement and added a second solo. This solo is from Avenged Sevenfold's "Seize the Day". And the credit sequence is from the intro in "Buried Alive".

This recording session was definitely a big production and wouldn't have been possible without the following people:
I have to first thank Dan Agee for an incredible mix. Dan is the most talented musician and mixing engineer I know. With him on our projects, I always feel like the students' tracks are in good hands.

Steve Nagasaki, for mastering the song. It's great to have someone as talented as Steve to get a fresh perspective on a song. For all your mastering needs: www.nagasakisound.com

Brian Anderson, Josh Cole and Morgan Asher...what can I say, these guys worked 24 hours straight and took care of business. They made the trip enjoyable and successful. I can't thank them enough!!!

Tom and Nick Inglin for their fantastic photos which were used in the credit sequence of the video.

Todd Tidwell and Aaron Kasdorf, the engineers who kept the session relaxed and productive despite the long hours. The students can't wait to work with them again.

And of course to all the parents for making this trip possible. My students are very lucky to have parents who are so supportive.

Note: I am looking for cameramen, photographers, lighting crew and video editors to help out on future projects. The amount of work to create these videos is daunting, so any help would greatly appreciated. Please contact me if you are interested in getting involved (we do have money in our budget for these services). Our future sessions will most likely occur in Cincinnati, OH and Nashville, TN.
