I've been to dozens of these protests (purely because I get off on riots, not because I have any political aspirations) and I can tell you 98% of these people aren't legit anarchists or activists. They simply show up to try and provoke the police and then whine about police brutality and sing kumbaya. And I'm saying that as a totally neutral party. I don't give a shit one way or the other. But I can see this crap for what it really is.

Wow. I understand doing the job you've been ordered to do, but do these cops have to make it so obvious they enjoy beating up defenseless people.

People who's "crime" is assembling to peacefully protest the RNC as well as the war.

It takes a real man to beat down a young girl with your baton, while in full body armor with a shield and a helmet with face guard. A man's man.

You cops should be proud of what you accomplished this day. Just don't expect people to trust or respect you, ever.

Only Democrats would protest an integral part of the democratic process. You don't see Republicans protesting the DNC. Of course, a lot of that could have something to do with the fact that they usually have day jobs, career paths, or senses of decency.
