People need to start playing this again, zipper needs to move this game to PS3 also, SO many people would play. Clean up the "blockiness", add a helicopter to the vehicles..maybe a few new maps..this would be the biggest hit on the PS3.

Due out in January. Vehicles, 256 players at once, military classes, command structure/system, epic.

Zipper will jump back into Socom afterwards. They've also finished Fireteam Bravo 3 on the PSP.

well MAG is more of call of duty than it is SOCOM. I hope zipper does jump back into SOCOM, giving slant six the opportunity to make Confrontation was a bad move (to me). I can not wait for MAG tho, looks great.

Uh, no. That's very very wrong. Call of duty is extreme arcade, while MAG depends on squad tactics in order to survive. With 256 players you're not going to survive long trying to 'run and gun' in MAG.

In the meantime, people need to get Operation Flashpoint 2. It's the closest thing to a sim (like America's Army) on a console.

Oh well i am terribly sorry, i am basing it off the fact that if you watch the video it is a FPS, you sprint, aim, shoot all the same as COD4. Unless they have changed the game since the last time i saw it. To let you know you hit someone is also the same, points pop up. None of that happened on any socom. That is what i am talking about.

Well, it wouldn't be a smart thing to think every FPS that features sprinting, aiming, shooting, and other similarly 'basic' features mean the games will actually play the same. Then again, you don't go into detail to explain yourself, so I guess leave it at that. Put it this way, if Socom were strictly First Person, MAG or Flashpoint 2 would be closest kin. COD would still be pretty far apart.
