Yeah. Socialism worked out so well, that everyone in the USSR, Eastern Europe (over one billion people) threw the yoke of socialism off. I lived on the southside of St. Pete when the rioting happened. At 19 years old, I couldn't understand the depth of emotions playing out at the time. After living in the area for many years, I saw the real disparity between the haves and the have nots. To be attractive to retirees and the Snowbird set, you really have to gloss over the urban reality that exists in the city. There is a lot of self-imposed segregation from all sides.

I don't mind the riots....The rioters for some unknown reason tend to destroy their own neighborhoods. It happened that way in Atlanta and L.A. When this happens, I say the law evacuates the sane folks who do not wish to solve their problems through violence, for a perimeter around the area, and let the rioters have at it. This goes for any race that chooses this barbaric course of action.
