  • I'm trying to play your arrangement, but there's a tricky part at seconds 1:24-1:25 that still bugs me, the little bit between the Bmaj7 and the Gbm7.

I'm pretty new to jazz guitar, but I'm having a real good time transcribing your arrangement, it's a very relaxing tune to play and sing along. Makes me appreciate even more your skills :)

I'd really appreaciate if you (or anyone) could teach me that tricky bit. I'll keep trying.

Thanks for this great video :D

  • @kaoD It's a little "Walk-up" phrase: BMaj7, C#m7, Ddim7, B/D#, or

    7x887x, 9x999x, 10x 9 10 9x, 11x 9 11 xx. Probably plucking only strings 6, 4 &3.

  • No chance you'd share the chords? I thought I'd be able to work it out but got stuck really early.

  • Yes, send me a message with an email address is the best way. I'll give you a pdf.

  • Excellent!

  • GOOD GOOD...

  • I really enjoy playing your little arrangement, making little changes and substitutions and improvising over it... I wish I had your beautiful voice!

  • My favorite jazz musicians are Helen Merrill and Chet Baker. Your voice is very soft and mellow like them. I would like to listen to your jazz improvisations. Wishing your continued success. Love from japan.

  • Amazing ! My favorite version is the one on Chet Baker from Baby Breeze with Kenny Burrell on guitar. :-)

  • good job.. italy!!

  • Fantastic!!!

    Steve

  • Oh man i dig this. I've been messing with jazz at school for a couple years and I'm getting into singing and i just love this song. Great cover. My version is a little harder on the "blues" aspect. but I'm kinda taking after Grant Green's interpretation.

  • @kaoD Nevermind, got it. Tricky part for the voice when playing along :D
