  • very nice layout and train. Starting a Alaska RR N scale layout and i have noticed not very many people model Alaska

  • Thanks!

When I saw the engine set, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the paint scheme. I simply could not leave without it! The engines did not perform like all modern model engines do (this particular loco was built in 1993), so I upgraded the engines and decoders, of course also with added engine sounds!

  • VERY NICE!!!

  • Thanks, the ARR locomotives have recently been modified with more modern electronics and engine, so the speed can be controlled way better than before. I'll try to post a new video soon.

  • Nice trains and layout. Is your Alaska equipment rtr or custom painted?

  • Thanks for your comment, and the Alaska Railroad train set was built by Marklin in 1993, so it was not custom painted.

  • The real locomotive of that road number 1500 was in the movie runaway train and they preserved it at a railway museum in Alaska from what I heard.
