No Nugent was never convicted of draft dodging. But in his early days he bragged about doing all he could to avoid military service. I find his suck up attitude towards the military now sickening in light of this. He's a typical hawk---he loves war but only if someone else is fighting it.

@seymourbbest for the record, Ted Nugent did dodge the draft, but Ted Nugent has publicly apologize and has done more for our troops and law enforcement than any other musician. I am an Army Veteran , purple heart recipient and HUGE NUGE supporter! He and his family are great people. I know this first hand and not to mention he has been to every combat zone in our modern day on his dime to support the troops!
