This is one EXTREMELY TENDER love song; I love this song so much. Wow, the lyrics are perfection as is the mustic and the voice. This is really a special song. So sweet and innocent, so evocative of its time. I've loved this forever. Thank you for this post.

Just heard this in my car and rushed to find it on yt, because I recognized the backup group instantly - none other than Ray Conniff. A Conniff superfan has posted Conniff's personal notes made on EVERY recording session in his 45 year career. But I don't even need to doublecheck - the unmistakeable Conniff 'sound' is there, loud and clear. That factored greatly in the success of this song on the charts! Ray Conniff KNEW how to make us love a song, he had made a science of it! Thanks MUCHO ! !
