This was the film on which Mario Bava's son, Lamberto Bava, began his career as his father's assistant. Lamberto would latter become a director himself.
I have always loved Mario Bava and He always had such a dark and creepy style to His directing techniques and again the fog scenes are very weird and the intire look fo the film almost has an ethereal feel to it.
