Dude gets tased at The Fest 8.

Gainesville, FL. 8th st. NW. Early morning of Nov. 1st. A house show we shall never see.

GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT:
This video was shot at a house show that had no affiliation with "The Fest 8." It DID feature some bands that were playing the Fest (BTMI, Chotto Ghetto) but in no way did The Fest sponsor it. The person who was tased DID tuant and yell at the cops. Anything else, I cannot confirm. THE MAJORITY OF FEST GOERS ARE NOT LIKE THIS, this was an incident that got extremely out of hand and that is the reason why I filmed it. It's in no way an accurate representation of "Festers" but a small handful who made the situation escalate.

I don't agree with the violence of the situation (on either side), however, if you are going to taunt the cops and not follow their commands, you will most likely be tased. This should be obvious....

I can't remember ever feeling quite so sick as watching this. Taunting and kicking a lone police officer while shouting police brutality? This is more than youthful ignorance, it's a lack of basic human decency. Somebody got tase'd? So bad, so sad.

Man had a job to do. Like it or not he's technically there to stop people from getting hurt at his own personal risk. I dont know if you expected him to run away or what, but I can't imagine a cop just running away when there is still that kind of disquiet in somebody's NEIGHBORHOOD.

Also, try getting beaten by 8 of anything and I guarantee you'll feel it.

Police Brutallity? Hardly. Just becuase your a part of a liberal scene, dosnt mean when a police officer is doing his job and must use force is looked upon as the enemy. All people in society have a purpose, your doing yours, there doing theres.
