Each and every year, Mr. Cartwright and Mr. Washenberger, two physics teachers at Mounds View High School, hold what has come to be called "The Physics Fair". A gathering of scientific minds, where students are judged for their applications to the real world of the physics concepts they've learned in class. Students formulate groups of four and are presented with the task of imagining, designing, and constructing a sort of chain reaction project using a few given components along with a slew of others that can be triggered by the preceding group and trigger the following group. After over a month of preparation, the projects are lined up end to end by class period, in an attempt to do the unspeakable; make an entire class long chain reaction. All footage was shot by Mr. Cartwright and Mr. Washenberger at the 2010 Physics Fair at Mounds View High School.
