It has been a while, but if I remember correctly you keep taping the accelerator until ~1.5 seconds remain on the countdown. Then with just under 1 second remaining on the countdown, hold accelerator... Something like that, anyway. ;)

i play crashes too,i think burnout is the best race game with destruction and alot of speed!!!!!!
