I never could accept this guy as Duke Lavery. Ian Buchanan broke the mold, PERIOD THE END.
Finola Hughes is great as usual, though.

Worst plot twist ever. Bringing half of a super couple back from the dead only to kill him again was so cruel.

I think if they wanted to bring Duke back ( Ian Buchanan) is to just say this guy wasn't really Duke. Of course I don't know where he would fit in on today's GH without Anna and Robert on the show.

This Duke is unexceptable!! Shame on you GH, I will never except anyone but Ian Buchanan as the original Duke "sexy ass" Lavery. Now take that and Guza do the write thing 25 years later, you asshole.!!!

@carrrie640 this was good shit..but too heartbreaking! GH sure knew it's stuff back then. This is what I miss(even if it makes me all teary eyed) It's why drama and the soaps were created to begin with!

@slimkim86 I think that's why they fired Beecroft and decided to just kill Duke off forever. IB was doing The "It's Garry Shandling's Show" which was taped at the same studio as GH(they met in the parking lot and Garry though Ian was funny and had him on his show) and what was worse for Beecroft was his character on ATWT had just been killed off too. Both of his character dying within months. Ouch! It had to hurt!

@carrrie640 I was 9. You can tell Anna was the love of Robert's life when he ditched Katherine(another great love) to be there for the mother of his child in the aftermath of her great love dying...twice!
