Howard and Rudd in bed with the coal industry - Greens Ad

A spoof of Labor's 'John Howard is asleep on climate change' ad.

The ad shows John Howard and Kevin Rudd in bed together and highlights the dangers of Labor and Liberal policies on global warming.

Despite the threat of climate change, Kevin Rudd has refused to set short term emission reduction targets, has committed to an expansion of the coal industry and the continued logging of old growth forests. Unproven "clean coal" - that won't be available for decades -- is favoured by Labor over renewable energy such as wind, solar and geothermal. Rudd and Howard have also both ruled out a carbon tax to reduce emissions.

I wonder if Rudd is still asleep on climate change? I haven't been paying attention to politics recently, last time I heard, all that was reported was him swearing on tv, making a flight attendant cry, and something about a summit

Yes he is. Rudd set a joke of a 5% target for reducing emissions, and he's giving massive (billions) in subsidies to the coal industry.

Rudd's a dud and you Greens are doing everything in your capacity to make sure Labor comes back to power by giving your preferences to Labor. Even if Greens get BOP in Senate still there wont be any carbon Tax because that will destroy Gillard in POLLS & Labor Right will get rid of her.
