  • Huh. As an atheist who's just beginning to explore the realm of Christian-Muslim dialoges, I must say that Muslims tend to beat Christians pretty hard. It's a sad day for Christian apologetics when they're represented by morons like David Wood who poison the well by accusing his opponent of quote mining before he's even made his case. Abdullah's made a brilliant response-now Wood's going to have to defend the position that freakin' Aqinas was quote mining as well. He should just give up.

  • Good video.

  • @watcher12343 If you are truthful in your comment, why don't you search the truth. Read The Quran and try to find any statement that says murder someone or any contradictions. But i can tell you a bunch of contradiction in your bible.Let me tell you something, I know most pastors are gays, but I don't say they were commended by bible to be like that.

  • More stories and testimonies of Iranians and Jesus Christ, under our Youtube account name "OtherSideofIran"

  • @watcher12343 Murderers, you must be joking. How do you think your beloved country was founded on? Hypocrites are the worst kind of people and your time will come soon.

  • Muslims are a group of murderers, liars, and schemers. They are incompatible with American life, and must be removed from this country.

  • @ammir1 this is just ur understanding, the old testament dals with Gods justice, when people were in sunful places, God wanted to irradicate it, as this is God calling

  • I dont think this its even a matter of debate that christianity is a religion of peace. How come a religion can call itself peacefull when thousands of years of his gods records shows killing , killing babies, more babie, more and more babies , and even donkeies.

Majority of the war in OT are offensive not defensive.

  • At the outset of Abdullah's statement, he used the word "orthodoxy" to Christianity.

He didn't express exactly if he meant Orthodox Christianity, or simply orthodox perspectives in general that can be applied to all branches of Christianity.

If I was talking about "orthodox" Islam, people may believe I was talking about Sunni Islam and not Shia. In debates, people should be careful how they use certain words and not make sweeping generalizations.

  • Abdullah's classification of Christian "sects" is very strange, but I understand what he is trying to organize in establishing his point about peace.

However, this debate (and this goes for the Christians as well) derails itself by avoiding the issue of State and Religion. For example, the Menonites that Abdullah mentions have never held State power, and therefore the responsibility of government (taxes, armies etc.) never fell upon them. Very poor examples for debate.

  • Thanks for the suggestion.

  • As an atheist, I reject all religions. I don't see how it's disrespectful to use the symbol of the three great monotheistic religions crossed out to symbolise it. The whole image used to be visible before they changed the channel formats on youtube. If you could see the whole thing, you would see that it's a parody of ATHEISM that I thought was quite funny. It's not mocking any of the three faiths, it's mocking US.
