@0misdestiny0

Probably better to show it to her before it, so she is ready for it.

lol, love the stereotype of the woman "when you come to think of it, most of your daily routine is on the mild side" *image of woman cleaning the house in and apron* haha

I think the film is pretty good considering the era... and that it's from Disney. I really like that it leaves enough space for mothers or fathers to give their own explainations of how a woman can become impregnated. But, as a mother of 2, babies that have a tooth or 2 are usually alot bigger than that! Props on the whole blue blood thing! Just wish someone would explain that not always does it look red. Got mine when I was 12, and it looked like cranberry juice... didnt think it was a period !

there was an old wives tale that women and girls on their period shouldn't bathe... kinda nasty when you think about it and leaves you to wonder who started such a nasty rumor

Yeah, I like the gentleness with which she treats the subject. I'm a little peeved at the stereotypical portrayal of women, but I guess it can't be helped in a late 1940's Disney show. Still, I'm glad they decided to do a treatment of this subject.

So when is the "disney on ice" version of this coming out?
