Dr. Joel C. Hunter, senior pastor of Northland Church (www.northlandchurch.net), served as a panelist during a live CNN discussion with leading Democratic presidential contenders Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and Barack Obama at the Sojourners Presidential Forum on Faith, Values, and Poverty. Dr. Hunter asked Senator Clinton, 'Could you see yourself, with millions of voters in a pro-life camp, creating a common ground, with the goal ultimately in mind of reducing the decisions for abortion to zero?'

  • AMEN.

C'Mon Christian Pro-Lifer's: How many of you are living in a household supported solely by a male without a second income, who is real Father to his children? Abortion is Social, not moral. Your morality makes me laugh: You just endorsed troops to Iraq to fight and die. Right to Life there? Not. Someone needs to die for this fantasy, but it can't be a Fetus???

  • @MarysMyMom You're right. Women can't truly be subjugated until the government has control over their bodies. Way to stay true to your Christian values.

  • I don't think that there is a bigger issue than abortion. No-one bangs on talking about how irrelevant to society the holocaust was...

  • Religion and laws dont mix. What does a reverant have to do with bringing his religious bull shit with how the law should be carry out.

  • If the "conservatives" get rid of PBS and NPR, I've heard that Big Bird and Elmo are going to open an abortion clinic. Also, I've read that Mr. Snuffleupagus is going to start stealing your guns. Watch out "conservatives"!

  • Abortion isn't the way to go for everyone. As a pro-choice person, I believe abortions are a tragedy. Unplanned pregnancies are a tragedy. The fact that any woman would ever have to make that decision is sad, and no one has the right to pass judgment on them. If you reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies, you reduce the number of abortions. You have to realize though, that by making abortion illegal, you are causing a chain effect of unintended and less desirable events.

  • What is up with American Politics and their obsession over Abortions? Yes it is wrong, but frankly its nobody's business if the woman who lives next door to you is getting an abortion or not. It is a private emotional and painful choice of the woman and her doctor. I wouldn't want some priest telling me how I should feel or live my life. Its absolutely ridiculous!

  • @leh7335 Not everyone who is pro life is a bible thumping christian and i am no holy roller I dont go to church lol...l dont belive Abortion should be banned completely I beilive it should be restricted ..... and not used as birth control... Thats what condoms and the pill is for.... and its not a fetus its a baby a liveing being...I only have one question your pro choice right were is the childs choice or fathers... By the way I <3 Hillary we must reduce the amount of abortions in the US.

  • I love Hillary
