@DarPower1 In terms of success i have already given you prove of Batman's The Dark Knight higher sales, higher awards and highest praise and the director of The Dark Knight is Christopher Nolan and no he is not a big comic book fan, his favorite films are ones like 2001-A Space Odyssey, Ridley Scott's Blade Runner and Roman Polanski's Chinatown. Can you please give me prove of Superman's success throw sales and don't just quote some reviewer or editor because i could easily do that.

@Stevie260392 Um, Star Wars was like the biggest hit of all time. You're wrong, even teh director of teh Dark Knight says the best was Superman the Movie. So sorry charlie, in terms of sucess, people rememeber and know of Superman teh Movie more than any Batman one.

@DarPower1 Also the "time period" excuse for the superman movies is not good enough because the first Star Wars film was made in the 70s and it grossed $775,398,007 yet Superman 3 and 4 failed Superman 2 did above average but not as good as Batmans movies and Superman 1 was really Supermans only true success and the reason Batman and Robin did well it sales is because it was a sequal to Batman forever and people expeted better but this proves i was right Batman movie are more successful.

@DarPower1 You and i can go on and on about how this guy said he was better and he said this guy was better i could give a hole list of editors from websites, magazines and newspapers but that does not support my argument that Batman has grossed a overall higher income for Warner Brothers and DC and yes Batman's TAS did make a lot of money throw VCR sales and merchandising.

@Stevie260392 Roger Ebert named Superman the Movie teh best along with Time and New York Times. Smallville came it at 10th, TAS was nowhere on the list. So really, im sorry but Smallville is one of teh best tv shows of the decade and TAS really wasnt.

@DarPower1 Batman has won a stupid amount of awards and films like The Dark Knight and Batman (1989) and been critical acclaimed has 2 of the best superhero movies of all time with The Dark Knight being the overall best movie the Dark Knight also grossed on boxoffice a whopping $1,001,921,825 meaning it outsold Superman 1-4 combined Also IMDb named Batman the Animated Series (1992-1995) the best superhero seris with Smallville coming in at 4th im sorry but sales are on Batmans side here.

All Superman has to do is stay out of the kryptonite area of effect and just blast Batman with heat vision or throw a city on top of him. Fight over.

On a fist fight, with superman not using heatvision, Superman will win this fight within 5 secs.One punch from superman is lethal Superman is Alien, with superpower strength, when Batman is human, with no powers, Batman is no match! humans are weak! in defensive to superman strength.. But, in a "anything legal fight", dont underestimate Batman, Batman is smart! He'll figure out using Kryptonite as weapen, maybe a kryptonite boxing gloves and will beat the shit out of superman.

Then you post movie grosses that obviously dont make much sense seeing as how they were made in two different time periods when movies costs rather differently. ANd ignoring the fact that Superman is in top 5 ever since his reboot of most comics sold as of recently, Superman also has the most popular tv show. Please, yah lost.
